South Africa 266 for 9 in first innings in Eden gardens

South Africa and India are playing their second and last test match of this series at Eden gardens in Kolkata.  South Africa was in a very comfortable position with more than two hundred runs for only one wicket. Both of their first down batsmen knocked century. Peterson knocked 100 in his teat debut. Hasim Amla scored again a century. He had knocked a double century in Nagpur where RSA had beaten India by an innings.

Comfort and joy of South Africa could not stay long. Harbhajan Singh, the terminator came as a shock to South Indian batting. He took quick wickets and put South African batting to struggle. No one except Peterson and Amla could stay against him and started moving to pavilion.

Match is stopped for bad climate 9 overs remaining. India bowled 81 overs during the day.

Victory of India over Bangladesh in ODI cricket

Dhoni brigade of India defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in the last league match of ODI try series. Playing first Bangladesh scored 247 for 6. India crossed the score and made 249  in just 42.4 overs (7.2 overs remaining)  loosing four wickets only.

Shakib Al hasan made 85 and M Mahamadullah 64 playing for Bangladesh. Bangladesh lost five wickets in just 95 runs.  Asheesh Nehra took 2 wickets and Yuvaraj, Amit Mishra and Sudeep Tyagi, a new comer, took one wicket each.


Virat Kohli scored unbeaten 102 and recorded another century in his name in just 95 balls with eleven hits to the fence from Indian side in this ODI. Gambhir knocked 41 before bowled out by Naeem Islam who also LBW Yuvaraj to get two wickets in this match.

It is to be noted that India had already entered in the final before playing this ODI, The final match will be of this one day international series will be played in Dhaka on January 13, tomorrow, 2 PM IST (1.30 PM local time).

Triumphed victory of India over Sri lanka

India has recorded a triumphed victory over Sri Lanka on January 10, 2010 in try series of One day Internationals in Mirpur, Bangladesh. India will play in final with Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has also reached in the final of this ODI series.

Sri Lanka scored 213 all out  in 46.1 overs. India made 214 for 2in just 32.4 overs. India recorded victory by 8 wickets 17.2 overs remaining.

It is to be worth noted that India had lost to Sri Lanka team in the previous match of this ODI series. India has recorded a triumphing 8 wickets victory over its rival. Both Gambhir and Virat Kohli scored 71 runs each. Amit Mishra and Zaheer Khan both took 3 wickets each. Zaheer Khan has been declared as Man of the match.

This victory will boost morale of Dhoni brigade tremendously in the final match against SRI Lanka to be played on January 13 in Dhaka..
